Abstract:

With rising threats to the critical infrastructure installations, it is crucial to secure all critical assets. Information networks, including control systems and business information technology networks, are critical assets that are vulnerable to rising cyber threats from around the world. The need to secure these information networks is identified in this paper followed by a discussion of applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines. The conclusion provides key steps to secure these information networks.
