In response to anticipated regulatory action by the State of California in support of the Federal Clean Water Act, the County of Los Angeles Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District (District) created the Sewer Maintenance Condition Assessment Program (Program) with the objective of providing continual assessment of the collection system. The Program's primary goal is to reduce the number of Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSO) by taking a proactive approach of assessment and corrective action.
