Abstract:The Ferrator® is the first patented, on-site ferrate synthesis reactor for municipal and industrial applications. Ferrate has been extensively tested by FTT in a variety of environmental applications and been found to be an excellent disinfectant and treatment chemical. The Ferrator also has been applied in pilot-scale studies to provide Ferrate for water and wastewater treatment applications for use as a disinfectant; for odor control; hydrogen sulfide removal; color removal and oxidation; and destruction of emerging contaminants.
