Abstract:

This paper discusses the successful implementation of a non-methanol carbon source at the Littleton Englewood Wastewater Treatment Facility utilizing TETRA® deep-bed denitrification filters. This paper will describe the methodology employed to implement a non-methanol carbon source, the modifications required to utilize a non-methanol carbon source in deep bed filter technologies, lessons learned and full scale data from the project.
