	abstract = "The City of Saginaw, Michigan designed, purchased, programmed and installed a wireless Ethernet network to communicate between the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and seven Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Basins. The completed solution allowed the City to achieve all goals established during the conceptual planning stage and for the wireless system to be easily modified and expanded to meet present and future needs. The project is an example of how a detailed design by the consultant and the “transference“ of lessons learned can allow agencies to develop the skill sets necessary to implement a similar system with in-house staff and at a substantial cost reduction.",
