The Importance and Value of Measurement
Abstract:Measurement is the determination of the status of an object, process or change. By its very nature it is an estimation of the object, process or change being evaluated. However, even as estimation it acts as a reliable compass for those producing or monitoring the object, process or change. As a singular act it defines direction and magnitude, and as a series it defines rate of change.
