Abstract:A full-scale IFAS demonstration was operated for one year at the TZ Osborne WRF. The purpose of the pilot was to verify IFAS design parameters and identify key operations and maintenance issues in a system that was retrofitted from a conventional activated sludge operation. This presentation will include a detailed discussion of the operations and maintenance lessons learned during the pilot project and what is anticipated to be included in the development of full-scale IFAS design.
