The City of Santa Paula, California has selected the team of Pacific Environment Resource Corporation (PERC), Alinda Capital, LLC., Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering (PACE), and Trussell Technologies, Inc. to design, build, operate and finance (DBOF) a 7.2 MGD peak day flow (10.4 MGD peak hour) MBR facility. This paper will present the details of the biological design, the MBR facility design features, the issues considered and addressed during design such as biological foam control and the ability to sustain peak flows, along with a construction update with photos of the facility under construction.
