The following outline is an extended abstract for a paper that will describe a strategic energy planning process designed to culminate in a balanced portfolio of organizational enhancement, operational optimization and capital programs targeted at developing renewable energy initiatives,
reducing energy consumption, associated costs and greenhouse gas emissions. The paper will focus on the structure and aspects of the plan as organized under the Five Pillars of Energy Management: Policy, Organization, Business Processes, Financial and Technical.
