Using Risk-Based Techniques to Optimize Utility Business Processes
Abstract:Increasing the O&M efficiency in wastewater facilities requires the identification of requirements, the prioritization of planned tasks, targeted investments, and measurement of the return on those investments. When you identify O&M work practices as assets, and use the risk and condition assessment techniques of Asset Management to target improvements and measure success through repeated assessments, you create a focused and rigorous process for improving the O&M efficiency of any facility.
