Unique Approach to Selection of Optimal Low Level Phosphorus Reduction Technology
Abstract:This paper discusses the planning process, development of the pilot investigation protocol, pilot investigation execution and evaluation and selection of the treatment technology most suited to meet the low effluent permit phosphorus concentrations at the Westborough, Massachusetts WWTP. This paper also discusses the potential impact of the phosphorus treatment technology in the upstream and downstream processes at the Westborough WWTP.
