Abstract:The Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District (GBMSD) went through an upgrade project on their two multiple hearth incinerators. As with any upgrade project of this magnitude, there are unexpected challenges to overcome. As these challenges are met, lessons are learned along the way. This paper will discuss some of the real life lessons that GBMSD learned in the upgrade process.
