This paper analyzes 10 years of operational data at the Henrico Water Reclamation Facility to determine long term trends and key reasons behind the performance of the facility from a BNR perspective. Within this time period, the impacts of water plant alum sludge on the facility are also analyzed. Finally, the optimization of supplemental carbon (sugar water) addition to the activated sludge basins is undertaken and described.
