Abstract:

While Wisconsin is one of the water rich Great Lakes states, the plumbing regulatory agency, the Department of Commerce, has taken the approach that the states groundwater issues are serious and inevitable. The response of the Safety and Buildings Division recently has been to take a holistic approach to the water entering and leaving a building site and to evaluate the most environmentally efficient way to interact with that water.
