Abstract:
Biosolids have been applied to farmland in Virginia for more 35 years, in most cases without incident or opposition. However, there are counties in Virginia where the local government and public have been intensely opposed to land application. This has created repeated challenges to biosolids management in Virginia and a constant public affairs issue for more than a decade.Document Type: Research article
