Enough Planning! Time to Implement an Enterprise Asset Management System
Abstract:This paper discusses the real world of planning, procuring and implementing an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System. The document describes the process used by the City of Chandler, AZ, the results of that process, and delivers an informed perspective on questions like: Who should be involved? Can one system serve the needs of ten departments? Should we do business process modeling? What kind of benefits would justify such a large investment?
