Abstract:

This paper presents two case studies on pilot testing and design of dewatering systems for municipal biosolids using the Fournier Industries, Inc. (Fournier) rotary press. Since the two municipalities involved have very different types of biosolids, the information presented herein provides a range of expected operating data for this dewatering system. In addition to pilot test information, capital cost and operation and maintenance cost information is also provided.
