This paper presents a novel computer application, QP Manager, that manages large quantities of flow and rainfall data and uses well established hydraulic and hydrologic concepts to validate and characterize existing sewershed flow rates. Fundamentals of wastewater flow components are
discussed and illustrative cases of typical sources of errors, and data discrepancies are presented. Impacts of avoiding data validation are also discussed. Through this application, it is the author's intent to provide the industry a useful tool to automatically manage and characterize flow
and rainfall data to use more efficiently and effectively in hydraulic modeling as well as other analyses.
