Reduction of CSO Loadings Using Fine Mesh Screen
Abstract:Bureau of Sewerage, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, has endeavored to improve combined sewer in many methods to prevent the amount and frequency in which wastewater is released to river and ocean during rainfall.
Already, interceptors in pipelines and reservoir tanks to store wastewater temporally have been improved.
We have installed Fine-Mesh screen (FMS) to reduce CSO loadings at Haneda pumping station in March 2006.
