HANDLING MEMBRANE WASTE WITHOUT DISPOSAL TO SEWER
Abstract:The implementation of microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) is rapidly growing as utilities strive to meet more stringent regulations. For some utilities, disposal of the waste streams generated by this process is becoming a hindrance for the implementation of this technology. This paper discusses the various treatment/disposal alternatives for waste streams.
