Abstract:

This paper will cover a case study of the implementation of security improvements for a large drinking water utility with limited resources that had completed their vulnerability assessment in compliance with the Bio-Terrorism Act of 2002. This case study project consists of three phases including Planning, Design, and Construction. The presentation will cover the three phases of this ongoing water security implementation project that will be in the early stages of the Third Phase (Construction) at the time of the 2005 AWWA Water Security Congress Conference. The main topics to be presented are as follows:
