THE 12-STEP PROGRAM FOR BUSINESS REHABILITATION
Abstract:The 12-Step Program is a framework for developing and maintaining a successful utility business. The framework is useful for utility managers who are starting a new initiative, driving change, or improving an organization's ability to deliver the best service possible to their customers. The program highlights the importance of building industry relationships and using technology and techniques to mitigate the risk and become more competitive. It also identifies the need for improving the relationship with current and potential customers in delivering service at the lowest sustainable cost. It becomes a guide for business planning and implementing organizational performance programs like Asset Management, Business Process Re-engineering, CMOM, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and Change Management.
