Abstract:
Overview of Project - The Madison Avenue Pump Station Project is located in Fair Oaks, California, which is a residential suburb in east Sacramento County. A comprehensive sanitary sewer Master Plan, completed in 2002 by County Sanitation District -1 (CSD-1), indicated the existing sewer system was undersized for this service area. The service area was served by the existing Arden Gold pump station, as shown in Figure 1 below. The Master Plan recommended a new 2.2-MGD pump station and 5,500 feet of force main be constructed to relieve the system.Document Type: Research article
