Abstract:

This presentation will describe how the regulator and regulated in the State of Georgia have worked together through the Georgia Water & Pollution Control Association in a cooperative and collaborative manner over the last five years to achieve the goals of the Georgia Board of Natural Resources, publicly owned wastewater collection and treatment utilities, their customers and all of the citizens of Georgia while concurrently dealing with water quality issues caused by sanitary sewer overflows (SSO).
