Abstract:

This document highlights the elemental differences between 2 approaches to collection system and WWTP improvement. The new approach is called the “Migration Approach” while the old USEPA approach is called the “Defect Approach.” The differences stem from 30 years of observations about what went right and what went wrong in sewer system rehabilitation. In essence, the Migration Approach, is a combination of three things:



Incisive engineering


A new type of cost analysis and


Comprehensive rehabilitation
