AEROBIC THERMOPHILIC TREATMENT OF CONFECTIONERY WASTEWATER
Abstract:This paper is a case study of an industrial wastewater treatment facility upgrade utilizing the aerobic thermophilic treatment process. The process wastewater is from a confectionery manufacturing plant and is high in carbohydrate content. The results of a wastewater characterization and treatability study are presented. The final design parameters and operating data are also discussed.
