Abstract:

Like most other utilities Columbus Water Works is facing a difficult financial situation due to increasing regulations, and aging infrastructure. A special situation in Columbus involves the loss of revenue due to closure of industrial (primarily textile) customers. This paper tells about the process using an outside consultant to develop a financial plan to meet present and future needs.
