JEA's wastewater utility is the second largest in Florida, serving over 192,000 wastewater customers. The wastewater system is composed of five regional and 12 local treatment plants treating 67.5 MGD. The collection system includes over 1,100 pump stations and 3,200 miles of gravity and force mains.
