Abstract:Maintaining optimum solids levels in small and very small wastewater treatment plants remains a constant operational challenge. Solids wasting procedures are poorly monitored and lacking in flexibility. The use of gravity bagger systems has become popular, and a number of small plants in West Virginia now are equipped with such units.
