Abstract:

With increase in population and constraints on development of new water resources, water reclamation and reuse is gaining importance. In addition, due to stringent environmental regulations on wastewater discharge, many industries are considering recycling of treated wastewater to reduce their discharge and water demand as well. This paper focuses on the use of membrane technology for reclaiming industrial wastewater for non-potable reuse.
