abstract = "Mexico, considered a semi-arid country in two thirds of its area, presents salinity and sodicity problems especially in the Northern and Northwestern regions. Among these regions, the Valley of Juarez, located in the Mexican State of Chihuahua, has a surface of 27,000 ha from which an average of 17,000 ha are cultivated mainly with cotton plants. The Valley of Juarez has 4 primary types of soils: Juarez, Caseta, Porvenir and Cedillos, being the first two saline-sodic soils. On the other hand, the construction of two wastewater treatment plants with capacities of 1.5 and 1.0 m3/s in Ciudad Juarez will generate approximately 90 dry tons of biosolids that need to be properly disposed or applied. This work evaluates the impact of biosolids application in Juarez and Caseta soils using limed biosolids.",
