Abstract:

The Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program was created by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1995 to accelerate the marketplace acceptance of commercial-ready environmental technologies. Conducting credible third-party performance assessments of the technologies and reporting the results to the technology users/reviewers will achieve this objective. Access to this information allows users, developers, regulators, and consultants to make informed decisions about the technologies they are buying or permitting.
