WASTEWATER LABORATORY ANALYST CERTIFICATION PROGRAM UTILIZING ABC
Abstract:A Wastewater Laboratory Analyst Certification Program using the Association of Boards of Certification (ABC) exams provides assurance that analysts who become certified meet a basic level of competency needed to produce quality work. Using ABC exams eliminates the need to maintain an item bank of exam questions and a reciprocity registry. When an analyst becomes certified under ABC he or she becomes qualified in other programs that use the exams thereby avoiding re-examination. This is an advantage over programs for Operator Certification which are different in each case.
