Abstract:
The laboratory is key in assuring the treatment plant reclaims the water and meets National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. Accordingly, Municipal Wastewater Plant Managers expect their laboratory analysts to provide accurate analysis of tests, maintain the laboratory and its equipment and instrumentation, provide quality assurance and quality control, work within the laboratory budget, communicate data, maintain records efficiently, and keep up with regulatory requirements. Managers expect this function of the plant to work with very little direction.Document Type: Research article
