Abstract:

Given the scope of threats facing freshwater biodiversity across the globe, achieving success in freshwater biodiversity conservation will require experimentation, creative thinking, and collaboration by all conservation practitioners. The Nature Conservancy's Freshwater Learning Center, an aspect of The Freshwater Initiative, encourages these approaches by providing practitioners with training, tools, access to experts, and opportunities to collaborate with and learn from work at freshwater sites across the Americas
