SOLVING BIG PROBLEMS IN A SMALL SPACE: AN EQUIPMENT RETROFIT TO ADDRESS ODOR CONCERNS AT THE LYNNWOOD, WA WWTP
Abstract:During a major facility upgrade initiated in 1996, the City of Lynnwood elected to upgrade the odor control facilities at their wastewater treatment plant. Due to the limited space on site, the proximity of the plant's neighbors, and the problems that had been encountered with the City's previous odor control equipment, the upgrade proved to be a challenge. This paper describes how the multiple needs of this application were met.
