Abstract:
After much debate and review your community decides that you need to get into a different type of biosolids treatment system. Your facility hires an engineering firm and evaluations of the current technologies are accomplished. During this evaluation process other facilities are visited so that a demonstration of these technologies is observed and the operators can be questioned as to their effectiveness. Many different processes are evaluated; they include lime stabilization and pasteurization, cornposting, incineration, land applying and landfill. Thoroughly educated on these different processes, your City decides that a “Class A” method of treatment would be the most beneficial to the City and the environment.Document Type: Research article
