Abstract:

A new type of particle sizer based on the principle of light extinction has been developed in the authors' laboratory. This particle sizer can measure the size distribution of submicron particles. The measurable range is from 0.08 to 8 μm. Verification measurements show that this particle sizer has a high accuracy, good repeatability and short measurement times.
