Intensity-based modal decomposition of partially coherent cosh-Gaussian beams
By using the intensity-based modal analysis method, closed-form expressions for the mode coefficients and M 2 factor of partially coherent cosh-Gaussian (ChG) beams are derived, which permit us to perform the mode decomposition of partially coherent ChG beams. The results are illustrated with numerical examples, and a comparison with the previous work is made.
