Abstract: A brief theoretical study on the energy content of the solitary-wave solutions of the optical lossless cubic-quintic Schrödinger equation is performed. In this mathematical analysis, a lower bound for the above energy content is derived in terms of the velocity parameters associated with the solitary waves.
