Abstract:The loss of marine biodiversity is a growing concern among both scientists and decision makers. A recent effort involving hundreds of experts in more than 40 countries comprehensively examines biodiversity loss in the world's estuaries, coastal waters and oceans, and what can be done to avoid it.
