Observation of the Vertical Distribution and Behavior of Nektonic Squids Using Manned Submersibles
The vertical distribution, daily vertical migration, and behavior of 14 species of nektonic oceanic squids are discussed in this paper. The data of visual observations from manned submersibles in depths of 0–2,000 m are the basis of the studies.
