The new species Enhydrosoma herrerai from Tampa Bay, Florida, is distinguished from other members of the genus by the unique combination of a caudal rami length/width ratio >5.0, P4 and P5 setation in the female and modification of the male P3. A revised key to the females
and males of Enhydrosoma which includes E. herrerai n. sp. and another recently described species, E. variabile Wells, Hicks and Coull is provided.
