Fatty Acid Composition of the Caribbean Coral Manicina Areolata
Fatty acid compositions of replicate samples of Manicina areolata from the Florida Keys have been analyzed to determine the degree of intraspecific variability. Variability of acids comprising at least 20% of the total is not large. Fatty acids may be useful in comparative studies of these and other corals.
