Western Atlantic Brittlestars of the Genus Ophionereis

The four western Atlantic species of Ophionereis are described and illustrated, and a key to their identification is given. Material from Florida, the Virgin Islands, the southern Caribbean, and Brazil, including specimens collected during 1966 by the R/V John Elliott Pillsbury, is discussed.
