Free Content Associations of two Species of Cardinalfishes (Apogonidae: Pisces) with Sea Anemones in the West Indies

The cardinalfishes A pogon quadrisquamatus and A. aurolineatus are occasionally associated with the sea anemones Bartholomea annulata and Condylactis gigantea in the West Indies. The fishes are not immune to the nematocysts and associate with the anemones for increased protection from predators.
