Two New Species of the Cyclopoid Copepod Genus Pterinopsyllus from the Gulf of Mexico
Two new species of Pterinopsyllus (Copepoda, Cyclopoida, Cyclopinidae) are described from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. P. illgi, new species, was taken off Loggerhead Key, Dry Tortugas, Florida. P. giesbrechti, new species, is from waters off the west coast of Florida. Each new species shows characters not before known in the genus, which is emended.
