The ahermatypic scleractinian coral Guynia annulata Duncan from Discovery Bay, Jamaica, is described and illustrated. Although Guynia annulata Duncan, a minute, solitary, secretive, ahermatypic scleractinian coral, is now known to be widely distributed in the Mediterranean,
Atlantic, and Caribbean, from relatively shallow water (3 meters) to nearly 600 meters, its iconography is still rather limited.
