Biological Results of the University of Miami Deep-Sea Expeditions. 83. A Redescription of Clypeaster Pallidus H. L. Clark, 1914, and a Description of Juveniles of C. Rosaceus (Linnaeus, 1758) (Echinodermata; Echinoidea)
Two additional specimens of Clypeaster pallidus H. L. Clark were collected from the Caribbean coast of Colombia and a redescription of the species is given. Clypeaster pallidus is compared morphometrically with the closely related C. rosaceus (Linnaeus) and C.
oliveirai Krau. Ontogenetic growth changes are discussed for both species and the juvenile forms of C. rosaceus are described.
