Abstract:

The first record of Eukrohnia bathyantarctica David, 1958, since its discovery in the Southern Ocean, is recorded from the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. The measurements of the Atlantic specimens are discussed in relation to those from the Antarctic and to E. fowleri from both regions. A list of the chaetognath species found in the deep samples from the Chain Cruise 60 is also added.
